Hi, having just seen Katherine in Sheffield tonight singing so well and in many languages I wondered if Katherine might consider 'Come Saprei' (by Giorgia that won the 1995 Sanremo Festival) sung in Italian as a choice for her next album, or just a single? Its such a good tune and the lyrics are wonderful, whether or not you understand Italian.

It's good to hear from Katherine again on Twitter. I hope this time is not too hard for her and that she feels the outstanding love for her from her fans. She is a huge inspiration to me and my dream is to meet her someday.

Hopefully in the very near future she will be able to get back on track and live her life to the full :)

I can't wait to see her in Dublin next december. It will be my first time to see her. Me and my mam bought the tickets for my 17th birthday and her 47th birthday. It'll will be incredible.

she is a great talent and people come to her shows and she gets invitation and so on and so forth.

But she doesn't have a great song to her name. She is a great vocalist, and camera loves her. The thing is she is not a composer.

How much longer can she go around and cover songs that are equally well covered by Celin, Sara Brightman, etc. etc. ?

I am surprised that she and David Foster have worked together but Foster didn't have a song for her !! May be David Foster doesn't have "it" in him any more.

Fine, but she has to find a world class song writer, so that she can sing fresh, brand new songs.

My mum and nan nearly cried listening. if you would like to listen please go to chrystal bliss tell me im not dreaming on you tube, i couldn't reach some of the higher notes so put some oohs in instead.

My teachers loved it.

2012 Tour - Portsmouth

I saw the performance at Portsmouth and thought it was excellent. Diction was beautifully clear as always, good choice of music, fantastic clothes, excellent support. I was very pleased that the volume was well balanced - too many performances by other artists are far too loud. The only downside was the moving lights played over the audience - these are pointless and distracting.
I logged onto the website with a view to buying some CDs. I found the website disappointing - only 2 CDs on offer, and "view details" doesn't give the details - I had expected a full list of the tracks on each CD, but there is only a selection - why? Shouldn't we know what we are buying?

RECOMMENDATIONS WHILST IN SOUTHEND

Dear Katherine

As you are going to Southend today I thought you might like three recommendations whilst you are in the locality.

Firstly when you arrive can I suggest you stop nearby in Leigh – On – Sea and visit the Cockle Sheds for some refreshment. Cockles and Winkles are a specialty here and are not to be missed. The last time I visited here I remember the Cockles lasted forever as I kept regurgitating them over and over again.

When in Southend a trip on the pier train is always a must. Try not to sit over the carriage wheels and make sure the Cockles and Winkles are well digested and you will be just fine.

Finally it is always good to take a dip in the sea at this time of year. The water in the North Sea will make its presence felt immediately and will stay in your memory forever.

I really hope these tips help you enjoy your time in Essex.

During such a sad time it is difficult to know what your thoughts are. Maybe you are wishing your winter tour was not starting so soon but then again maybe you cannot wait to get going

However there is one thing I do know and that is if you are hurting then your fans are hurting to. I can assure you when you step out onto the stage at Oxford on 7th January you are going to get the most amazing uplifting welcome. The love and affection that will be generated to you from your fans will send a tingle down your spine and I so wish I was going to be there.

I will be thinking of you on Saturday. I know despite your sadness you will give a truly wonderful professional performance because you always do.

Firstly, I hope that everyone had a good Christmas and is having a longer break than I am!:D:rolleyes: And thanks to Katherine and the other forum members for leaving kind, festive messages for us all recently.:) However, sorry if to sound negative, but as much as I know that Katherine appreciates her fans and is one busy lady, I admit that I was rather disappointed to find that Katherine hadn't posted a message on here this Christmas for her forum/Diamond club members, other than the one posted on Twitter.:( I'm aware that her tweets are posted on the home page of the website, but suppose that I can't help feeling that us forum members are where her true fans visit and deserve to have our own, if possible longer message.;) Although would assume that Katherine probably plans to write again soon though!:):blush:

Michael McIntyre's Christmas Comedy Roadshow

Was enjoying Michael McIntyre's Christmas Comedy Roadshow on BBC1 when during Rob Brydon's bit, he pointed out certain celebrities, and to my surprise he said hello to Kath and Gethin. As usual, Rob had praise for Kath and her success this year. He then started to sing, to which Kath was asked to reply to in song. Despite her only singing about 3 words, it was still beautiful. Was shocked to see her there at all let alone to sing a little.

Hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas Day, and obviously wish Kath the best of luck in 2012, and hopefully I will get to meet her once more.

Last week we were happy to see an interview on Television, Katherine melted our hearts, we went to nearest musicshop, and bought two of her CD, and happy for us one was with a DVD also. So today we have enjoyd the lovely welsh voice, and my boyfriend and I have been moved to tears, sitting in our cabin in the mountains of Norway. We have now ordered more from Amazon. Thank Yoy. And A Merry Christmas from Norway.

Hello all.............

I'm a HUGE Katherine fan (aren't we all!!) and follow her on Twitter. She has encouraged fans to send in the CD's for her to sign c/o Nettwerk. The thing is that over the last 2 years I have written to Nettwerk, enclosing 2 CD covers and also photographs - enclosing relevant return postage etc, but never received anything back. I even double checked the addresses before I wrote. Has anyone has similar things happen?? I know kKatherine is really busy but I am guessing either they werent passed on , or were lost? Usually I dont like sending CD sleeves in in-case they get lost - and they must have!!! One was a single sleeve for the Green Green Grass of Home, the other a compilation.

I was so sad I couldnt make the Manchester signing - Ive never met her in person, but heard her sing live three times - the last being at the Lytham Proms - she is amazing!!!!!
