Hi Everyone

Here's a roundup of my Festival

The Circus livened things up on the first Friday

The very interesting Allan de Botton and Jerry Hall

Hay Market square also had some entertainment

Relaxing at the festival

John Snow having a rest

You can't beat a queue

Robert Winston is a very wise man indeed and ploughs a lot of his income back into science,  He also sits comfortably in his chair

Jo Brand

Monty Don and Simon Schama

Renowned Welsh historian John Davies, he was once compiling a book on Wales and nearly used a picture of Aberystwyth, Australia!

The very talented  Tim Quinn who has written Dennis the Menace and Spiderman

There was a picture of taken Tim when he was eight reading this magazine, Years later when he was communicating with his future wife he sent the picture of him as a youngster to her, When they got married she had blown up the picture and framed it, a few years later they were in a US second hand comic shop, he had a look for this magazine and found three copies, he bought the reasonably priced good copy, he took it home and when he removed it from the plastic bag he wondered if he would have the same contented look on his face as when he was eight, to his amazement it was his magazine with his name written in it, he has no idea how it got from his home in Liverpool to the US after all those years.

The Wiggly Wigglers garden

Wood you believe it?

Which flower is this? a Aberglasney Garden quiz for a free book (Pre 1600)

Uknown person in the Opera house (A very popular wooden shed)

The real stars

Elena Vidal and Brian May talking about their excellent 3D book 'A Village Lost and Found'
The picture is blurred as you need 3D glasses to view it

Elena Vidal, me and Brian May

A poppy from our garden

John Harris and Richard Evans (Who designed many of the Who LP covers in the 70's)

Head in the clouds before seeing Chris Evans and Anne Robinson

A very entertaining interview with Chris and Anne

Anne showing her face

Dan Snow

Fergal Sharkey (Undertones)

Nicola Heywood Thomas and Roy Noble

Roy signing his book

I also had an invite to watch Nicola's radio broadcast

Dan Snow also chaired a very interesting debate about the Royal Navy

The festival finished with a 2 hour A to Z marathon with Stephen Fry

The runner up to the most beatiful Tweet competition

The Winner

Thanks John for the extremely interesting photos.  You certainly had some diverse people there this year!  The weather looked good as well, for once.

One year George and I must get to it!

Take care
