Just collected a copy of Cerys' new album. A lot of traditional Welsh songs including Myfanwy, Cwm Rhondda, Ar Hyd Y Nos, Calon Lân, Dafydd Y Garreg Wen, Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau and even a duet with Bryn Terfel on Migldi Magldi.
Most of the tracks of very bare with minimal instrumentation, which just emphasises Cerys' unique voice.
This lady has come a long way since the Catatonia days of the early 90s.
Well worth a listen

Am jealous.....didn't get a signed copy lol
Have been a fan of Cerys since I met her in the bar before a show many moons ago (in her slightly wilder, sadder days) - just love her unique voice
