Nothing much to add to the reports so far except to say the rapport between audience and stage was so much better than Wakehurst. Having Anthony Inglis back as conductor made all the difference, everyone looked as if they were having fun.
However, don't be fooled by the photos of me smiling whilst waving a flag during the Last Night Of The Proms segment, I'm convinced somebody spiked my drink!
Charlie, you looked younger than before, John you drove impeccably even if it was the wrong way, Katrina it was lovely to spend time with you again, Forum Knights Sir Gary and Sir Graham you left too early, the bar was still going strong at 5am though I'm not sure I'd want to see my room account afterwards, Karen and Sally burn that flag and Len, Steve, Flo, Bernice and anyone else I've forgotten it was good to see you.
A super weekend with Katherine in fine voice, a nice Forum dedication, a smile from her that I'm sure was directed at me () and super company all the time. What more could one want? Thanks everyone for their photos, these are the best of my snapping...
