I feel this tour is very important to Katherine.We know how she has set her mind on "cracking America" if at all possible.So far,sales over there have been quite modest.She entered at No5 in the Billboard Classical Chart and,after 13 weeks is at No.18.

Katherine is star quality through and through but it seems the Americans,taken as a whole, are not huge fans of "classical" music.This is one of the reasons "Believe" has been the most Crossover of her albums-hopefully appealing more to the US audience.

I was a little surprised that the release of the album in the US was not accompanied by a longer publicity drive across the States.This tour should provide just that.If Katherine can get herself some decent media coverage to go with the tour,it could help build up the head of steam which might lead to a big breakthrough for her.

I am convinced that,should the American public get to know her,they wil take her to their hearts.
