I recently completed a Charity Quiz Sheet with an interesting topic that could easily be adapted as a forum game. The game features Anagrams of UK Towns & Cities but with the vowels missing.
For example: PVLLR (9) = LIVERPOOL (number in brackets= number of letters).
Believe me; it's not as easy as it first sounds. There will be cases where more than one place has the same consonants and same number of letters. In these cases the alternative answer is acceptable. I have noticed an increasing tendency to go around in circles with some other forum games, but with such a vast number of place names available to choose, the chances of repetition are greatly reduced. I’ve called the game Around the UK.
The person solving the puzzle should post the answer, then provide the next anagram (not forgetting to add the number of letters) If the puzzle remains unsolved after (say) 2 days, then the puzzle setter should post a clue. Does anyone fancy giving it a try?
