| Hi, Everyone, Today is the 53rd anniversary of the passing away of Buddy Holly who was one of the Greatest Rock 'n' Roll performer's. On 3rd Feb'1959 He was killed along with others when the plane they were travelling in crashed whilst on tour in the USA. A loss of one of Music's brightest ever Singer's / Musician. I was very fortunate when only 12 years old that my Parents took me to see - Buddy Holly & The Crickets - in Concert on 25/03/1958 at The Gaumont Theatre (now renamed as - The HMV Apollo Theatre) in Hammersmith, London) as a Birthday Treat, A night that will always remain in my memory, as it was the first time that I had seen such a fantastic Rock 'n' Roll Group and the 'New' type of Music that was performed that night was out of this World. Regards, Les.

Hi, All, Just as a follow up to the above :- Whilst looking around the Foyer of The HMV Apollo Theatre last night at Katherines Daydream Concert in Hammersmith, I saw this 'Blue Plaque' of Buddy Holly :-

Oh my gosh I really missed this. I think it's important to remember of all the great artists of the past. Buddy Holly was definitively one of the best and his music will live forever, we shouldn't forget this fact.
Also thank you for sharing this picture, this was very interesting.
